Miscellaneous Secret #1
I feel them staring, scrutinizing my quiet, earnest attempts to reach some new place that they insist does not exist, but I know does. i reach and reach with a child’s hand. don’t know the words but i understand.
in the still of solitude i am me.
i cut those voices up and cast them out.
this is what i wish, to throw away what is getting old.
release yourself. we are not our brains. return. be discrete. be still. weep as you become untangled. retrace your steps. everyone can.

did you write this?
Yeppers! If it’s not in quotes, I wrote it. Actually in this case I had a little help from the cut-up engine, but it is cut-ups of my own writing.
that is what this world needs… people capable of being mature and innocent at the same time…
bty i cant stop listening to this song by jorma kaukonen (jefferson airplane’s main guitar), i hope the ones who didn’t know it profit from my post

Lovely lovely song. Reminds me of Jim Croce.
i will listen to that jim croce… i dont know him…any suggestions? personal favourite?
im trying out that cut up engine you used for your own writing… it works magic! it helps to brake the structures we have about writing… see i like to write poetry and stuff in english rather than in spanish (my first language, in which i am much more “expert”) many times, maybe because when i read them later the look much better than the things i write in spanish, because im more critical about what i write in spanish… anyway i tried it wit some writing in english i did and it helped me to be more confident with the language, because it showed me my writings organized as i would never do… and they looked great… even more… reading my words distorted in that way opened my mind to new ideas and thoughts
O how well we can stand against the tide of words that make us silent and make the loudest of sounds come out with a simple look. Weep with the loudest of feelings and make our disiers known to know ourselves and make the gentelness of ourselves be known but siting here silent can tell you more then every rant and convay the way i am insted of telling a story that you can shrug at and pass on by; tell me your sweet words without a sound and make me feel it once again, the way we where the way we are. You tell me more then you know and i share with you more then you think so feel and youl understand….
Very nice!.. as always looking forwerd to what else you will impress me with share on…

Skieseye - right on about the cut-up engine. I love that thing. It really frees up some brilliant secret messages and great lines sometimes that your normal mind could never have made, but which it can recognize as awesome after the fact. :)
Iran, you write songs right? you better start if not. you have a beautiful poetic style. and I know you play guitar, so get on it!
Brooke, I dont right songs, tempting! but ill wait till i get better at playing so i can do my best; for now. But thank you Much for your coment, when i give it a shot youl be my first audiance and critic.
when i listened to jim it brought memories and flashes of my childhood… i realised i did know his music because i heard it when i was a kid… i very clearly remember listening to “operator” for example while i was in my old car with my family going on vacations… i dont think there is anything better than watching the landscape along the road listening to music, really… actually i will write about it right now…
Wafted by the wheeled cot
Along this road .
Rapidly it strides the stone,
no forethought,
no regrets,
as if blown
through the amber sea
of meadows along the road.
My weary eyes remain open
Loving the candid,
Leaving view.
Blinking with the music
That recreates for me and you.
(a idea of what came to my mind… critics accepted and expected :)
Love it, skieseye. Do you make songs? That should be one.
im on it :)
