21 Love Songs: A Tribute to The Magnetic Fields

Woo! I finished my new improved version of Born On A Train [UPDATE: here’s a better mix] for the Magnetic Fields Tribute album! And behold the beautiful cover art which I collaged together out of paper, computers and magic.

The album is slated for release in early March, and it will be available for free at the 001 Collective. Thanks to James Eric for dreaming up and coordinating the whole thing!

And hey, why not check out the original “Born On A Train” via this lovely Magnetic Fields video?

    Hey brook…left you a fun no harm done comment on youtube re: Hayden and Home By Saturday instructional. (I’m harmless I swear!!! Ask my wife!!!)

    Anyway, I really like your voice and your guitar rhythm is excellent and well timed. For the mix, I would duck the music while singing to bring out your really very lovely and feminine voice. Any originals? Will look about to discover for myself.

    Hey Franklin, thanks! I’m glad my videos have been helpful to you. That was the whole original purpose until the music kind of took on a life of its own. :)
