my visible reaches
The continuity of the short “clean” tricks(editing?) with the background music gives a nice flow(for the viewer, and i saw some separate parts of this before). The end with the narrow corridor of light?Brilliant. And truly bold new”skate”parts. That´s gutsy!!!
That’s all Larry’s doing. I’ll pass on the compliments!
Yeah, very nicely done! Some of it was very impressive, particularly 0:40 - 0:45.
Larry said thanks, it’s very appreciated, and this was just an experiment, and more+better is coming soon. :)
skating is one of my unfinished business (actually never started)… but i’m wondering if it isn’t too early to be thinking of unfinished business and if at 18 it is still possible to start…
I can’t speak for Larry but one of our good friends and Larry’s usual skate-buddy is 32, and he didn’t start skating till 2 years ago, so 18 is nothing.
It’s something I’ve always wanted to take up too, but never had a good opportunity or excuse to until now. And now I’m pregnant so I can’t. Luckily our above-mentioned friend was just randomly given a longboard (which is like a jumbo skateboard that you can’t do many tricks with but it’s great for cruising around and is way way safer for beginners). He doesn’t have use for it so he lent it to me indefinitely. I’ve been having a blast cruising around on this thing in parking lots and stuff. You might want to look into one of those to start out with. It also helps a lot if you have a buddy who skates who can teach you stuff.
I hope you do take it up. It’s so damned fun and addicting, why not???
yeah why not?? right now i dont know anyone who skates, but i have a friend who practices downhill bike with friends (you’ve got to be nuts to do so, the chances of getting hurt badly are way too high for my taste) and they do so in parks etc… so maybe i’ll just go with them and skate, so as not to be alone :) …
