The Songseed Premonitions… premonition
Little by little as I can steal minutes here and there, I’m getting these old songseeds narrowed down, edited a bit better and fixing the levels (as best I can, these are very lo-fi recordings) so they’re more listenable as a collection. I’m going to put them up on my last.fm page as an ‘album’ soon for easier downloading and stuff, as soon as I have them all sounding good enough. But for now I thought I’d just start putting the finished ones up on divshare as I go so you can at least check a few out right away, in case you’re one of those impatient people like me.
Here’s me yesterday tweaking sound levels n stuff, just for you! Later kids!

those songseeds, WOW! and im saying that leaving aside the biased ear of a fan… your voice, well i think it’s all very clear how much we love it, and it still i cant help saying it again, i love it! …but i found that the guitar was beautiful as well, you made up some great tunes, now im seing much clearer your talent…

I put up a few more Wednesday night, but there are still many more to come. I was hoping to do this all faster, but as always, Life conspires against my plans.
Thanks guys for all the kind words. And I haven’t even done my disclaimer yet, where I make sure to drill it into your heads how improvised (they are made up on the spot while recording) and completely unfinished these are, and how the ‘lyrics’ aren’t intended to be the lyrics, but act as temporary structures for vocal melodies to swirl around and allow song ideas to take shape.
Just so’s you know where these are coming from. :)
Gilles, are you asking me to post the guitar chords for these? I think that’s what you’re asking. I’d like to but I just don’t have time right now, and these are so unfinished anyway, the chords could be totally changed around by the time I’m done with them.
